Twins and a Tot

April 2007

We had a great time yesterday at our friend Noah James Purvis's first birthday party. His mom and dad went all out!! There were several different baby pools setup so that the kids could play. This was the first time the girls have ever been in a pool and they just loved it. So much that we went and bought one right after we left the party!!! I can't wait to get them out in the yard to play in it this summer. Aiden didn't get to go to the party. He got a little sunburned at Daycare on Friday (they had a picnic) and didn't need to be in the sun on Saturday. It would have been torture to bring him and try to keep him inside so he stayed with his Nonna instead.

We are looking forward to the girl's first birthday! It's quickly approaching. We are having their party on Saturday May the 19th. Invitations should be going out this next week so be on the lookout, ok? We hope to see you all there! FYI-Just in case anyone is wondering...we so don't need anymore toys or clothes, but if you would like to get toys, get something girly! All our toys are Aiden's old toys so the girls play with balls and trucks most of the time. Ok, gotta run eat my burgers that my husband just cooked for me. Yes, that's right. My husband! Because he's here all the time now, which is a faulous change. His last day at work on the coast was April 15th. We are so glad that Daddy is home!

    Love,
    Mandye

    Had to share this one!!

When I picked Aiden and the girls up yesterday I realized I needed to go by Walgreens and pick up some prescriptions. We went through the drive through. I had Wiggles playing on the DVD to pacify the kids while we waited. Aiden was singing 'Wake Up Jeff' and talking to the girls, when I heard him say, "Mommy, I hungry." I said I was, too, and asked what he wanted. "I want kicken buckets (chicken nuggets)" he said. I asked where he wanted them from and pointed and the pharmacists at the window and said, "From right there!" SO cute! He totally thinks all drive through windows should give out kicken buckets. Hey, maybe he's onto something. I told the pharmacists and she thought he was a hoot! Gotta love the way tots think!

    I'll post more later!
    Love,
    Mandye
