Well, we have a countdown. I've been given a date for my c-section!!! It's going to be on May 31st at Baptist in Jackson at 10am. I have to be there at 8am. I have been in and out of the hospital with contractions and high blood pressure a few times, so I'm hoping to make it until then. I will be 37 weeks on that day, according to my OB. I'm SO EXCITED that I can see a finish line ahead. We're going to find out the estimated weights on the girls this Friday at 8:30 so I'll post them when I get them. I'm guessing somewhere in the upwards of 5 pounds each. I have no clue which one will come out first because they keep switching around. Aparently my uterus is shaped to where they can do that. I'm hoping that I'll be able to tell because Carsen is on my left and Camden is on my right. To mess that up after knowing all this time would stink. We'll see. Ok, officially can't bend my fingers. I'll post on Friday!
Love,

(See the girls site for pregnancy updates)
Aiden is doing so much new stuff that it would be hard to update if I was normal, much less now that I'm about-to-pop pregnant.
He is adjusting to life in Jackson very well. He loves his Neener and Popaw, and his Tashy. And he's doing fine with no Daycare, although I can tell he misses his little friends.
He is still in love with the Wiggles, and now he goes and turns off the tv when he wants you to turn on their videos. We're trying to break him of this, and reinforce that you can't have what you want ALL the time, so we don't always give in. So what does he do when we say 'no, Aiden.' Well, lately he either slaps the table really hard or headbutts something. Yes, that's right. He headbutts something. Whether that be your own nose, or the wall. It really concerned me at first, but I've talked to enough moms now to know that this is normal behavior for some kids. Considering all the change Aiden's had this year, I'm just glad that it's JUST headbutting and not biting, too. (I may have just jinxed myself). I was a biter and Anthony still is (haha), so we'll see. As of now, we try and ignore the fits and refirect him to something else. That seems to work best.
About 2 or 3 weeks ago Aiden finally started saying Momma, along with everything else under the sun. He has a pretty big vocabulary now, and can get his point across about most things. He's too cute. My favorite thing he says 'dere it is' for there it is. It's so cute! He jabbers all the time, too, for when he can't verbalize what he wants. All I have to say is, we're all in trouble when he finally does get those words going. The boy likes to talk just like his Mom! I'm sure he still doesn't understand that the girls are coming, but we have taught him to point to my belly when asked, 'Where are your sissies?' And I know he knows I'm getting bigger because gets the funniest look on his face when he tries to hug me now.
I'm sure there's so much more to update, but I'll try and do that later. My fingers are becoming sausages and I still have to update the girls' site.
Love,

Well, I know I haven't updated in a while, and I've been hearing it from everyone. So here you go. My fingers aren't swollen this morning so I'll update until they do.
At 30 weeks I had an appointment with my OB in Jackson. I had planned on working until 32 weeks, so this was just supposed to be a regular appointment. Well, 2 days before my appointment I developed some pain in my upper thigh that looked like a blood clot. I also finally started swelling (oh, the cankles I have seen). When I got to my appointment, Dr. Travelstead told me that I needed to be in Jackson on bedrest from here on out. Well...that was fine, but I was totally unprepared. I had an ultrasound that showed my leg pain was just pain and no clot, so that was good. And after a week of rest, my feet looked practically normal.
So Aiden and I are staying with Mom and Dad until the girls arrive. Anthony is working 10 hour days and coming up on Thursday nights. He's so awesome to do that because we miss him so much!!!
I am having weekly ultrasounds starting this week. I will see Dr. Perry, my specialist, for these. Last week they measured the girls and Carsen was 4 pounds 1 ounce, with Camden at 4 pounds and 3 ounces. That means that, together, they already weight more than Aiden did. WOW.
Everything was going fine until this Monday. I started having lots of pelvic pain and backaches. By the time I got to the Dr's office I was having contractions so they admitted me for monitoring. It turns out that I was dehydrated (how embarassing!). So now you won't see my without my water bottle.
Anthony and I have been working on getting last minute things,(like double strollers, car seats, etc.) so that if these girls make an early arrival we won't be scattered trying to get things done last minute. Thanks to our friends, we have plenty of diapers. We are in need of onesies, burp cloths, pacifiers...all things that Wal-Mart provides, thank goodness. So we're gonna be fine. We got our Co-Sleeper last week and it should be awesome for the girls. It fits right on the bed so I can just roll over and there they are. Granny and Cindy got us this, so 'thanks!' to them. We really appreciate it!
Ok, swelling has begun and I need to go get horizontal for a while. Good news: Dr. says she won't let us go past 37 weeks, which is June 3rd. I'm expecting May babies!
FYI: Anthony and I were able to be present last Friday morning for the birth of one Mr. Noah James Purvis. This is Sunie Moseley Purvis and Brent Purvis's little boy! Sunie and I have been best friends and have gone to church and school together since 1st grade. It was really awesome to welcome her little man into the world. He's beautiful and I have pictures to post as soon as I get another non-swollen moment. He'll be the perfect future husband for one of the girls!!!
:-)
Love to all!!
