I just wanted to take a sec to point out that Aiden and I both have blogs now. For those who don't know, blogs are sort of like diaries on the internet. They're there for the purpose of sharing our take on anything and everything, and for updating family and friends on our life. The direct link is on this page on the bottom right under 'links.'

Well, we just got back from a week in Destin with my family...all 13 of them...and boy are we tired! It was an eventful trip, to say the least. We had a lot of fun. Aiden got to play with his cousins Katie and Jasmine some, and he got to bond with his cousins Anna and Candace, who really hadn't seen him that much in the past. We left on the 6th of August from Gulfport. Everyone stayed at our home that Friday night. 4 Vehicles left from Gulfport. Anthony got to go until Tuesday, but then he had to work Wed-Fri. We missed him a lot!
We had some drama with Aiden when we first got there. He started running fever on Sunday and it reached over 103 degrees that night, so we found a doc that Monday that would see him. She checked him out and said that it was a 'fever virus' and would run it's course in a few days. He was fine except when his fever jacked up, so we stayed and waited it out. She gave us some approved doses of motrine and tylenol and he was better by Wednesday.I'm really glad we stayed because Aiden had such a good time in the pool and ocean.
Speaking of ocean...Friday was the only day that our whole family went to the ocean as a group. Well, we were all out about 10-15 feet into the water at about waist deep for me (shut-up...I know it's only knee high for most if it's waist deep for me!). Anyway, all of the sudden the life guard blew a whistle and we were all out of the water. A chaotic 5 minutes later and there was a huge (ok, 7-9 feet long) shark swimming right where we had just been. It was nuts! I literally got chill bumps. I took video, but Anthony says it's worse than the loch ness monster video and that no one would be able to tell if they watched. Well, that doesn't matter. I know it was there. And I will NEVER get into the ocean again. Mark my word.
Well, I hope that you all have vacations as fun as ours. :-) I'll write more later. Enjoy the pictures!
Love,
