  Well, it's been over 2 months since I returned to work. It was THE hardest day of my life, but I got through it. Mom and Cindy helped out tremendously with Aiden. And Daycare...the kid just loves it! He is such a social child now. He just laughs and smiles at everyone. Since returning to work I've taken a new position. I am the new Women Veteran Program Manager for the whole VA Gulfcoast Healthcare System. My office will be in Gulfport, which will put me closer to Aiden. I might be able to go see him at lunch some. YAY!
  
  For those of you who haven't seen baby Aiden...he's not looking like a little baby anymore. He's such a chunk! And he is a very "growny" little boy. He is trying so hard to sit up on his own. He can't stand being buckled in or held down to do anything. He loves it when someone stands him up and lets him walk. I've always heard that some babies walk before they crawl. If that's true, Aiden might just be one of those. He LOVES to be on his feet and HATES to be on his tummy.
  
  We've had lots of visitors over the past couple of months. Recently we were in Jackson for Mother's Day, which was really special because it was my first. Aiden got me a very sweet card, with the help of his Daddy, and he signed it all on his own :-) It was a great trip!
  
  Next weekend we will be in Jackson again for a wedding and will be staying with my mom and dad. Give us a call if you want to come by and visit!
