Well, we had our 4D ultrasound on Saturday at 10am. It was amazing. In the prescence of his aunt Ashley, his grandparents and great-grandparents, little Aiden showed his face for the first time. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can get Anthony to help me with it (yes, that's full permission to call and bug him about it!)
We had a very busy weekend. By Sunday I was completely worn out and ready to come home to my own bed. I'll be in Jackson again on the weekend of October 15th-17th for my friend Sunie's wedding. As of right now, I have a shower on that Sunday, but it may change.
We'll be back in town on Nov. 5th-7th for a shower that Saturday and maybe one that Sunday. After that I don't plan to be back in Jackson for a while...without Aiden, that is.
I'll keep updating as the time goes by.
Love to all!

Well, it looks like we really dodged a bullet this time with Hurricane Ivan. Anthony left this morning to return from Jackson to check on our home and he is reporting that there is a lot of wind damage, but not to our house. I'll be heading back home on Saturday via my mom. Just didn't want to go back until I knew we had both electricity and water. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts during this last week. See you all soon!

Well, we're about to leave town this afternoon as Hurricane Ivan is approaching land. We'll be going to Jackson and staying with family until we get the "all clear."
Just wanted everyone to know that we are safe. We will have to endure a LONG traffic-filled ride to Jackson tonight.Comments:Add a comment:

Well, we're hanging in there. Only 3 months to go! Aiden and I are doing fine. I've had to cut way back on my sodium intake at the doctor's request because of swelling. Last Monday (Labor Day) I looked like the Pillsbury Dough-Girl.
Mom and I went to Metarie, LA to the mall to look at Pottery Barn Kids. We got some cute stuff that isn't on my online registry. Thanks to my Aunt Jennifer Banks for letting us use baby Katie's bassinet. She sent it to us from Jackson through my mom last week. Hopefully we'll be able to use it!
We will be in Jackson on the weekend of Sept 25th for our 4-D ultrasound. Hopefully we'll have some good pics of Aiden to post afterwards.
Anthony and I are having a relaxing weekend. Hope you are all doing the same. Thanks for the happy thoughts and prayers! We are blessed to have such great friends and family.Comments:Add a comment:
