Twins and a Tot

Well, even though I do try to blog daily now, I felt like I needed to do a big update here on the main site.

Well, it's official, Aiden is a ball player! He got his t-ball uniform at yesterday's practice and he's ready for the season! His first game is Thursday night at 6pm! I'm so excited! He has been a little dramatic at practice, getting pretty upset when he hits the ball and runs the wrong way. Yesterday was pretty classic. He barely hit the ball so he picked it up on his way to first base. I was just excited that he went to first base! Last time he ran to the pitcher's mound. Anyway, he's gonna have fun. It'll be fine. They allow the parents to be on the field to help man the troops, so to speak, so I'm sure I'll be doing that some, too. Anthony is also playing softball on a couple of teams so he will miss a few of Aiden's games. In other Aiden news, he will start at Park Place Christian Academy this summer. I'm nervous and excited about it. Nervous because he's so little, still, but excited because I think it will be a good influence on him. And if we hate it, he'll go back to Kid's Stop. We love it there! The girls will be staying there until they turn 2 and then we'll probably move them to Sunshine. I am dreading it, but it's gonna be easier to do that than to send him to one side of town and them to anther side of town. Anthony will be taking all three to school! I'm a little excited about this! And I will be picking them up in the afternoons. I think this is a good mix for the kids. They'll get time to bond with us both. And it really is a bonding experience when you take a child to school, so I'm excited about the change.

The girls are just hilarious now days. Prissy Miss Camden is such a girly girl and into anything and everything that has to do with jewelry or bows. Carsen likes jewelry, too, but mostly just because her sister does! They both are very territorial now. They fight over Mama, Daddy and Bubba if the other is getting too much attention. It's pretty cute. And they are (cue the fanfare) now in their big girl beds!!! I know some of you already noticed those pictures. It has actually gone pretty good so far and only a few nights have I heard the padding of little feed down the hallway coming to our room, and that was when Carsen was sick. 9/10 it will be Carsen who wants to get in the bed with me. The other one time it's Aiden, but he's pretty independent now. Camden really never wants to get in the bed with me unless she's sick.

So we should start actually building our house within the month of April. I just don't know what to think! It's been so long since we've had a place of our own, so I'm just elated! I am already thinking of what colors I want to use and what syle I want to decorate. It's so fun! I'll try and update on our blog as stuff starts to happen. Now, we're waiting on the bank...literally. As soon as the construction loan is approved, we're good to go! WOOHOO!

Our next fun thing (other than my house being built!) will be Camden and Carsen's b'day party. They will have a DORA party at Mom and Dad's on Saturday, May 24th from 2-4pm. We're renting a blow up water slide because the girls LOVE to slide! I can't wait! SO fun! I hope we see you there!!

Oh, and congrats goes out to my cousin Zachary Bridges who is a senior at Pearl this year. He signed with Hinds CC last week to play baseball with them next year!! For those who don't know, Hinds has a great team and it's not easy to get on with them so this is quite an honor. The Bridges family has a history of being great baseball players, so Zach is just following suite. Can't wait to give you a big congrats hug, Zach! We're proud of you!!

Oh, and for those who have followed Sarah Kate Gillette's journey, she is now home and thriving! Her mommy and daddy and big sis Ali are loving having her there with them. We're excited for them!
Also, congrats to a few of our friends who are expecting:
Lauren and Jason Morrow, who just announced they're expecting in September! Ashlynn Joy is their daughter and she is C&C's age.
Heather and Jereme King who are also expecting and due in September. The daughter, Stella Rose, was one in February. Something was obviously in the water! I'm just glad I didn't drink it!!

    Love,
    Mandye

Please pray for my friend Lindsay Gillette's new baby, Sarah Kate. Lindsey's a good friend and her blog is in our links section. Sarah Kate was born with 2 major heart defects and underwent major open heart surgery yesterday morning. She was born on Sunday at 9:27 pm at 38 weeks and was 8 lbs and 19 someodd inches. She is beautiful! Lindsay had to have a section because she was breach. Sarah Kate didn't start crying like normal so they quickly realized there was a problem. Lindsay didn't get to see Sarah Kate until the next morning and then she was quickly rushed to the Little Rock Children's Hospital for surgery prep...4 hours away from her mommy. Lindsey amazes me with her strength. She has a 2 year old, so pray for Ali as she is away from mom and dad and new baby sister. Lindsey went MONDAY (less than 24 hours after her section) to be with them in Little Rock so pray for her recovery as I know she is in pain. Here is their blog which she's been updating as much as she can. I know she appreciates the prayers!

    Aiden update:
Well, we took Aiden to get his allergy testing yesterday and it turns out he is not yet showing any signs on his results. The doc says that does not mean he's not got allergies, it just means they aren't showing on the tests yet. SO...we are now looking into his old problem with reflux to see if it's still rearing it's ugly head. The doctor said that reflux can cause chronic sinus problems if not controlled. So we're back on prevacid and we're taking singulair for his asthma symptoms. Doc says he may just have Asthma like my dad did. If he's no better in 3 weeks, we go to an inhaled steroid daily. Ugh. I hope he's much better!

    Pray for Aiden!

    Love,
    Me

Well, Christmas is over and we are all still recovering. As Aiden puts it, "Ms. Tabitha took down our picture and now Christmas is over and I am sad." Bless him. Last year we just had Christmas (movies and music) all the rest of the year but this year he understands that it's over. The girls do too, which is amazing to me. They are SO growny and opinionated.

Speaking of growny and opinionated, they will tell me in a heartbeat when they don't like something. Camden is the best about saying "NO!" Whether it be a song or a movie or whatever..."NO!" And you better stop when she says so or else. Carsen is my huggabunch girl lately. She wants to be in my lap at all times. She's just a little money perched on my shoulder or on my leg...which is funny because we called her monkey face as a baby because she was SO tiny that she had a cute little monkey-like face. Anyway, the girls are really into Dora and Diego now. This morning Camden kept saying, "I wan watch Boots!" and when we got Dora on tv she had a fit yelling for Boots! It was too cute. Carsen really likes Toy Story 2 and Cowboy Woody and Jessie. She LOVES "WooEee" and we're just about going to have to get her a Woody doll of her own because she LOVES him and Aiden doesn't like to share Buzz or Woody. I might have to get the girls a little Woody doll. Can't get just one of anything...it's a mess.

Some of you are aware that Aiden has had some troubles with his breathing since birth. We had a really scary incident last May and we've been waiting until he turned 3 to see an allergist. Well, he was three last months so Aiden went to the allergy doc and the dentist yesterday for the first time. Dr. Cook, his dentist, told him that he needs to drink more water and less juice, but that he has great teeth and a great bite. Praise God for good genes. Me and Anthony have great teeth, so we hope and pray the kids all have good luck with theirs. We also started brushing the girls teeth last night and they LOVED it. I don't know why I haven't done this sooner. So now, our nightly routine is complete. Everyone brushes their teeth together and it's a blast. Ok, back to the allergy doc. He agreed that something is going on with Aiden (duh!) so Aiden will go to get his allergy testing done next week. I'm dreading this but I know it must happen. We've got to see why he keeps getting sick. There's a chance, according to the doc, that he might still have reflux. Makes sense to me because he also has a poor appetite. As far as food goes, he could take it or leave it. I have no clue where he gets that from. I mean, I love to eat and so does his dad. He does tell us that his tummy hurts sometimes so I'm actually hoping it's reflux. We'll see next week...

    Update on our house:
The house plans are almost complete and the dirt work is almost done, as well. YAY! We plan to meet with our builder again next week to get something planned for a start date. I'm pinching myself because I can't believe we're really going to have a house soon. I know Mom and Dad feel the same way!!! I just thank God daily that we're in our position. I am so blessed to have these beautiful, perfect children and a wonderful husband and family. Who could ask for anything more? (Except maybe a house...No pressure, God!)

Oh! Just have to mention that the girls are twenty months old now (next week) and we will have another birthday before we know it! I can't believe my baby girls are almost TWO! I hope Patrice McCraw is reading this. She was our God-sent first caregiver for the girls and we miss her SO MUCH! Wish you were here with us in Jackson, Patrice!!! I know you share in awe with me that the girls are almost 2! Isn't it amazing!? Anyway, so we will probably have a Dora party, or maybe Momo (Elmo) because he ranks on up their list, too. We'll see closer to time.

I will try to update more frequently during this time when the girls are changing so fast and Aiden has all these medical things going on because I know my "village" wants to know. I thank all of you who join me in prayer for my children. Even if you are not in the physical village that it takes to raise my children, you are apart of our spiritual village and I am so thankful for each of your prayers. God bless you and yours in 2008!
    Love,
    Mandye

    Dear Aiden,

You are three years old today and your mama just can't believe how much of a little man you've become. I can still remember the first time I heard you cry and saw your sweet face. You were just as beautiful then as you are now. You and your sisters are my light in this world...you bless me with your presence and I praise God for you today just as I did the day you were born three years ago. Thank you, Lord, for my sweet boy!

My favorite thing to do right now is listen to your prayers each night. You have the sweetest little voice, so sincere...that is unless you're preoccupied with watching The Wiggles or Dora or Rudolph or Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas, and then you make it a quick prayer, which is also really cute! I also love to watch you with your baby sisters. You call them "your baby girls," just like your daddy does, and they love you equally as much. I am so overwhelmed with joy when I see the three of you playing together. When I asked God to bless my children, never could I have guessed that I'd be this lucky. You three are my angels.

You know, you always ask me that best questions. "How does it work?" "Where are we going today?" "Why does it do that?" I just love to hear them and I pray that you will always be full of questions. I knew you would be inquisitive, even as a baby, because your eyes were always full of wonder. One of your first words was "Wow!" and I still love to hear you say that now when you discover something new. You are just an amazing child! This year you showed me that you truly have no fear when you got up in front of an audience for the first time and sang with me, Tashy and Papaw. I was so proud that I could barely sing! I can't wait to see you grow in your music and discover where that gift from God will take you. You also conquerred potty training this year and have proven to me and your daddy that you are a big boy! I am so glad that we don't have to deal in diapers anymore! One down, two to go!! Another funny thing you've started doing is calling me "Mandye" when you're really serious. I know you're not happy with me when you use my name instead of "Mama." My favorite ever was, "Do something, Mandye!" when your sister kept turning off the tv while you were watching one of your shows. I think you were a little frustrated with your Mama, but I just laughed because you were so cute! You definitely have a mind of your own, that's for sure.

Well son, your big birthday party is this weekend and you will be getting your big Jeep, just like your daddy's. I can't wait to see the look on your face when you see your Jeep and realize that you get to keep it all to yourself! It broke my heart when you were are Bryce's birthday party and wanted to take his Jeep home with you. Well, this one is yours, kiddo, and you can play with it all you want! I am so excited for you!

You know, it broke my heart a little today when I realized that you were officially not a baby anymore, but then you threw your arms around my legs and said, "Hold me, Mama!" and I remembered that you'd always be my baby. And I hope that you know that no matter how big you get, I will always be here to hold you. Never forget that.

I love you, my sweet boy...

    Love,
    Your Mama

WOW! I can't believe how much time I let slip by since my last entry! I appologize to our loyal readers (haha!) and to those who have been sending me emails asking for an update. We've been busy to say the least!!! Where do I start??

Ok, Aiden had his first on-stage debut (check out the cute pictures!) in front of a crowd! We had one of our infamous Fifth Sunday all-day singing sprees in August and went to two churches for the day. Aiden sang at both churches. He was such a little ham! He got up there with his microphone and sang with us like he was born to do it, which he was born to do just in case you were wondering! I can see the girls following closely in his footsteps. They are already loving performing Wiggles songs and holding the microphone while the sing, just like Aiden used to. God is going to bless us with SO many fun years ahead, I can already tell!

    Funny story:
At the last church we were at, Aiden followed this beautiful little girl that was around his age all night long. He would play with her and hug her. He was so sweet and funny to watch. Well, when we got in the car to leave Aiden looks at us, very seriously, and says, "Momma, I really like hugging girls!" And then he grinned so big! He's truly a ladies man! Now when he sees a pretty girl, he just lights up. It's really cute to watch, but should I be excited about this or not?? Only time will tell.

I can safely say that Autumn has brought much better health to our house. The kids aren't sick nearly as much nowdays. We had an excellent Halloween, complete with trick or treating with the Sartins and a Halloween Party in Puckett with the Purvis family! It was a blast. Aiden dressed as Spiderman and the girls were little witches. Their heads are so big that the pointy hats didn't fit, so they really looked more like baby gothic princesses...oh well. They were still darn cute! We didn't get great pictures this year, but they're at the uncooperative age. Maybe they'll grow out of it soon. :)

We also had a visit from the Holleys in October. Jeremy, Jenn and Maddy were in town for a few days and this is the first time we've been able to see them since last year. It was so fun. Maddy is exaclty 9 months younger than Aiden and 8 months older than my girls so it was a fun mix. Aiden loves Maddy and says she's his girlfriend, which is fine by me! She's so cute and sweet and I already know she comes from good folks. The problem? Maddy could care less. Aiden kept trying to hug her and show off his toys to her, and she was so not into him. Poor Aiden, but he didn't give up and by the end of the weekend they were both sad to see the other go. Aiden is STILL talking about Maddy. We can't wait a year to see them again. I foresee a trip to Nashvegas in my future!!!

So the girls are getting SO big! True to form, they have flip flopped personailities once again. Camden is now dominant and Carsen is the huggy-lovey one. Cam will quickly tell you no when she doesn't want something, and both girls will push the other down if they're cornering on the other one's teritory (whatever that might be!) which can be pretty funny or pretty brutal...depending on the situation. Carsen talks plainer (more plain? eh. Sorry Mrs. Neal, I can't remember which way to go on that one!) than Cam, but less often. Last night, Carsen hit Camden on the head. I put her in time out (oh yes, it has begun) and then we had our moment where I tell her what she did, she hugs me and I make her hug Camden. I said,"No go hug your sister, Carsen," and she looked at me with those big, blue eyes and shook her head no. It was pretty funny! Carsen is notorious for loving you and giving you a big kiss then hitting you square on the head. I don't know where she gets that, but Aiden did it, too, so I guess it's normal. Camden is worse at pushing and yelling. She will scream at Carsen or Aiden before she pushes them, so they usually move. It's like a warning, I guess. She is so funny. She will be the bossy butt for sure. Poor Aiden is such a trooper. He just loves them both so much. He, for the most part (unless he's tired) will share whatever he has with them. He calls them his babygirls. I hope and pray that he forever watches over them with the love and care that he does now. I know it's alot to ask, but I pray that they never fight! (haha!)

So we are gearing up for Christmas! Aiden's b'day is December 13th and his party will be Sunday Dec. 16th from 2-4. This is after the Christmas program stuff at church is all over so I will have plenty of brain power to devote to the cause. He is getting a Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane for his b'day and WE are so excited! I think we're more excited than he is. When he sees the Power Wheels section at Wal-Mart he asks for the red car instead. Well, if you know Anthony and how Jeep crazy he is, you know that Aiden is getting the Jeep, not the red car. I personally feel like when he gets the Jeep, he'll love it and forget the big red car.(Note the Wiggles reference) We shall see!!!

Speaking of Wiggles, for those of you who follow the Fab Four, you know that Greg Page, the Yellow Wiggle, had to leave the group due to health complications this year. Well, the first video featuring Sam Moran as the Yellow Wiggle came out a few weeks ago and of course, we had to have it. Aiden and I purchased it at Wal-Mart one day when I had him by myself. He immediately noticed that it was not Greg on the cover and wanted to know why. I told him all about Greg getting sick and Sam, being a great guy and coming in and taking his place. We actually saw Sam as the Yellow Wiggle at our concert so I told Aiden this and he seemed to be ok with it. We got in the car and I put the video in and Aiden watched it with lots of giggles and singing and clapping, just like all the others. I was relieved!! Now he calls it his Sam Wiggle video. When he explained the video for the first time he said, "This is my Sam Wiggle video. This is Sam (points to Sam on the cover)and he's a real good guy. He was at our concert! Greg got sick and Sam took him to the doctor and took care of him and when Greg gets better we won't have to watch Sam anymore." It's pretty funny to hear their take on things. He was so excited when we went back and watched a tivo'd Wiggles from that morning with Greg on it. He said, "YAY! Greg is all better and we don't have to watch Sam anymore!" I don't know what that says for Sam, but I think he'll do just fine. I give any Wiggles-associated videos 5 stars! I can't wait until they're close enough in concert again to take the girls. (And yes, I realize I'm probably more excited than them about this possibility! What can I say...I'm a Wiggles Groupie!)

Ok, and finally for an update on our house. We have land, it is cleared off and we are waiting now for the architect to get our plans drawn out. He is going with Anthony tomorrow to view the land so he will understand more of what we need as far as size goes. I will update if there's an update. :) This building a house is a slow-go. Pray for patience on my part. I need it desperately. We are SO BLESSED to have my parents who are SO lenient in letting us live with them. It's been over a year now and they haven't booted us out yet, so I pray that God will also grant them patience to deal with having their home overrun by children and TOYS! (More toys than children most of the time!) Say a prayer for us and our parents this month, please!

I promise I won't let three months go by again with no update! More to come...
    Love,
    Mandye

So this month has been very quick, I tell you. I don't know what it is about a child (or two) turning one but it's all at warp speed after that! I can remember it being that way with Aiden but I thought it was because I was pregnant with the girls at the time. I mean Halloween is just around the corner and then CHRISTMAS SEASON!

Speaking of that, you know Aiden has been hooked on Christmas since LAST Christmas. We've been singing Rudolph, Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman all year. Anthony tried to drive the point home that we should just have Christmas at Christmas, but he gave up that battle pretty fast when he realized that our boy is in love with Christmas. I don't blame him! It's a fabulous time of year. Well, this year the girls will be 19 months at Christmas and I'm hoping they'll 'get it' this year. They are already growing up so fast.

Update, just in case you didn't know: Carsen is officially the bad twin. I'm joking! I'd never classify one as bad and one as good and I hate when moms of twins do that...but I must say that the child has the temper of her mom (this is a bad thing) and will pitch a HUGE fit before you can blink. Yesterday Anthony simply looked at her and said, "Carsen, that was bad, Darlin'. Very bad." (she was pulling Cam out of the rocking chair and onto the floor), and she literally exploded before our eyes into tears. It was so sad! She knew exactly what he was saying. And at school, poor Ms. Peggy (their teacher) says that they both are in perpetual time out lately because they try and take the electrical socket blocker thingies out and try to climb up into the window sill and get her window air unit (I know! I'm amazed, too). Aparantly they climb on each other to do this. It's quite remarkable if you ask me, but with 7 others in the class to watch, too...she's a bit overwhelmed. Time out in the their room is being put in the naughty high chair for one minute. She says it totally doesn't phase them a bit. I don't know what to do. I'm going to research what else she could do for time out besides the high chair. Oh, and I also go another treat this week at daycare. Ms. Peggy greated me with this: "Well, Mom, one of your girls got bit today. Camden got bit on the finger. And Carsen got an accident report today. She bit another child." I'm thinking at this point that this is just so sad for Cam and I know Carsen is a pirhana so I feel bad for the other kid. Well...who did Carsen bite? She bit CAMDEN! I don't know why I didn't see that one coming. Cam was trying to steal Carsen's pacifier and Carsen took matters into her own mouth, so to speak. Later at home that night, Cam got her back. She bit the fool out of Carsen's finger. So to say that I'm ready for the oral phase to be over is an understatement.

So Aiden is a little man now. He's basically potty trained and I am SO proud. He has the occasional accident, especially when we try and get him to wear underwear to bed, but over all he's doing great! We have the assortment of cool kid underwear now. We have Elmo, Scooby-Doo, Sponge Bob and, of course, Spider Man! Aiden is loving Spider Man lately. Spider Man and Woody Cowboy from Toy Story are his best buds. He takes Woody with him everywhere. We got the movie Toy Story a few weeks ago and he's got it memorized now. "To Infinity and Beyond" is his favorite catch phrase. He's just so smart. He's discovered a new show on Nickolodeon that he loves to watch about 10 times a day, too. (Don't know what we did before Tivo) It's called Yo Gabba Gabba and it's a little much for me. I saw on one of my mommy sites that one mom posted that it reminded her of her pre-child lifestyle (think illegal drug activity, I believe). Now, I've never even been drunk before so I have no clue about what an acid trip would be like, but as I sat watching Yo Gabba Gabba I felt that it must be similar to that. No, seriously, it's not that bad and it's got some good lessons for the kids. "So Yummuy, So Yummy, There's a party in my tummy!" Is the annoying song that encourages kids to eat food so the food won't be sad and will get to go to the 'party in their tummy'.I mean, that's pretty smart, right? The 'totally wicked' 70's instrumental music playing and the colors and lighting make it feel very retro. Whatever, he loves it. I guess we'll ride out this Yo Gabba Gabba thing till he's tired of it.

So lastly, I have to tell you that Aiden is a deep thinker. Let me leave you with some 'Deep Thoughts from Aiden.' I swear these are all true!

Laying in bed one night, just me and Aiden, watching Nemo.
Aiden: Mommy, how do you feel about whales?

Pause to add that anyone who knows me well knows I have a phobia of whales. I don't like the noises they make nor the idea of me being anywhere near them EVER in my life. I have finallly got to where I can watch them on tv and not shiver.

Me: Well, Aiden, to be honest I'm a little afraid of them, but you don't have to be. They won't hurt you.
Aiden: Don't be scared, Momma. I'll save you.

Laying on the couch one night watching some random cartoon with Aiden.
Aiden: Momma, I just want to go home, ok?
Me: Awe Buddy, come snuggle with me. Now tell me what's wrong?
Aiden: I just want to go home. I just want to be at my house.
Me: Well Buddy, we are home. We live with Neener and Papaw for a little while now. (I'm about in tears at this point)
Aiden: No, I want to go home.
Me: Well, Bud, where is home?
Aiden: It's where you and Daddy and baby sisters live.
I think I lost it at this point. His Daddy was at a softball game that he didn't get to go to and I think he was just missing him on top of being sick. It was pretty pitiful, but profound to me that he could tell me that home was where his family is. I love this kid. He's SO smart!

Ok, more to come! I'm sure I've left something out. Oh! We are closing on our land at the end of next week. They keep bumping it back, but I think that's the official date now. We should have done it last Wednesday, but it didn't happen as we thought. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be starting the process soon!Pray for us as we begin to build our home.

Oh! And we've had several friends give birth here recently. Jason and Meg Breland welcomed Brinkley Kate this month. She is adorable! And Beth Walker Barnt and her hubby Jonathan welcomed Noah last week. He's a peanut, weighing only 4 lbs 8 oz at birth, but he's perfectly healthy and was able to come home with his parents on Saturday. I can't wait to see him!! His aunt Katie (Walker Sartin) is so proud of him! And finally, poor Lyndsey (Palmire Robinson) and Victor Robinson are patiently waiting for little Carson to make an appearance. Lyndsey's big sis, Lauren Palmire Morrow, and I grew up up together and she was like a little sister to me for a long time so I am feeling pretty proud for her and pretty old, but that's just life. I hope she gets some relief soon because she's posted that she is pretty miserable and anxious to meet her little man. Pray for all three of these families!

    Love,
    Mandye

    Best thing Aiden's EVER said:

We told him the girs full names (Carsen Makenna and Camden Noelle) and then he repeated them back to us. "Cahsen Kenda and Camden the whale"
HAHA! Camden the WHALE! One day she'll hate him for that, but for now, we'll just laugh. SO cute!

    LOVE MY KIDS!!

So we've been passing strep throat around the house for about a week and a half now. Carsen had it first and now Cam has it. I hope Aiden doesn't get it. I have a bad throat this morning so I'm praying that I'm not about to get it. I have not had strep since I was a child. Those darn penicillin shots were enough back then, much less now. All my children are allergic to penicillin so they don't get them. Pray we are all well soon!

We closed on selling our house last Friday and we now have money in the bank. Praise God! Now we have a lot picked out in North Brandon Estates and we're just trying to make sure that this is what we are supposed to do. It's a beautiful lot! I love it! I am hoping that we will be in our own home by this time next year.

Aiden and the girls are so funny playing together. Carsen and Aiden get along great, and Camden shakes her finger and just fusses at them both. I guess we know who the bossy butt will be! She's so funny. You can't understand a word of it but you know from the inflection and tone of her voice that she means business. She's so cute! Carsen is a very sensitive child. She gets her feelings hurt if she's not included here lately. She's very protective of her sister. Their teach says that she pushes Cam around, but doesn't let anyone else mess with her. I think that's great and I hope they always take care of each other. Carsen is also really particular about her toys. She used to give up what she was playing with if Aiden wanted it. We would always make him give her something else to see if she'd let him 'take a turn' with what she has. Well, she's caught on and now she is fierce. She will growl and squeal if you try and take things from her. Cam is still pretty easy going when it comes to toys. She will let you do whatever.

Aiden is truly a little man now. The potty training is going great. He pooped on the potty a good bit this week. The first time he got to go get a toy at Wal-Mart. He is also wearing big boy underwear while at school. He's done this some at home, but not as much. I'm still a little weary about the possibility of him peeing or pooping on the carpet since we are in Mom and Dad's house...not ours. But we are making great strides! I think we'll be completely there by his b'day in December for sure!

Well, I'm working this weekend. There has to be a social worker on call so here I am. Nothing going on so I'm gonna go look at house plans some more. YEAH! Pray that all goes well for us as we take on this new adventure. Building is just another step in life for us and we're ready to take it. I'll update as we go!

    Love,
    Mandye
